When attacked by spam, you should not resort to the same practices your attacker is using. As a rule, you should stay away from the following:
- Threaten with violence
- Use illegal means to bring them down
- Hack into their system
- Mailbomb their site (it may be an innocent party who was used unknowingly)
- Ping-storm or SYN-flood the site;
Naturally, you should not use spam to fight back. Report offenders to your ISP, or to their ISP, if you are able to locate them. The best way to prevent such trouble is to protect yourself. Use one of the products below and put up a wall to spam. You don’t need those headaches. They’ll come, it’s just a matter of time. No one is immune. Protect yourself as soon as possible.
