What changes does My Pc Center make to my PC?
Other than installing the ActiveX controls described below, we do not make any changes to your pc during testing. The ActiveX control itself is a passive, run only while you are testing your computer on the site, and do not have the ability to change any system settings.
When we offer you advice to correct problems or enhance your pc performance, you are always in control of making the decisions and always have the choice not to follow our recommendations. Nothing happens without your permission or approval.
How do I remove your utilities?
Most of My Pc Center's utilities are installed automatically when needed by Internet Explorer and don't have an entry in "Add/Remove Programs". To remove them, open your Internet Explorer and remove it there in Internet Options. Under the General tab, click the Settings button under Temporary Internet Files.
