Why Our Tests Are Safe

My Pc Center uses signed ActiveX controls and JavaScript for its tests. No settings or preferences are changed during the testing process. With your permission, our scan will evaluate your hardware and software. During the scan, you may hear various noises or visual patterns on your monitor – this is normal and part of a very thorough review process. There is no need to worry. No settings are altered.

We value your privacy and assure you that none of your private information on your hard drives is being accessed. What information you do voluntarily give us, such as name and e-mail address during the optional registration process, is kept confidential and not shared with third parties. We do not sell it or share it in any way with any other company. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.

After the scan is completed, you will see a detailed summary of all of your computer’s components. For your convenience, you may be able to access them in your account as well, should you need such information when dealing with other issues on your computer.
